ATTENTION.... If you are interested in joining The Newton Country Club, you will want to read this! There is some EXCITING news for swimmers at the NCC this summer. In order to take full advantage of our newly renovated pool and the potential closing of the teacher’s pool, we will offer a “swim club” category at the NCC. For a one time payment of $350, families can have use of the pool from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Swim club memberships includes use of the bar, social activities during the summer and the big 4th of July celebration at no additional cost. This is a terrific value and one that you will want to tell your friends. We also have something for those who want to enjoy the full NCC experience. We have made a great effort to simplify the categories and provide the best value for all members in each category. Below is a summary of the changes for NEW members in 2010. Eliminate the freshman and junior categories. Those individuals currently included in those categories will be “grandfathered” at current rates for 2010. Create a NEW couples golf category. Create a NEW swim only category. Combine the social single and social family into one social category. Create a NEW gold category for FULL members 80 years and older. No change to current non-resident memberships.The new dues structure provides significant savings over the current dues structure. Eventually, we would like to integrate all of our current members into these new categories at the new rates. Our ability to do that rests on the success of our NEW MEMBER drive. We will revisit dues in June, and if warranted, will reduce current member dues to the new level.
